He's become a boomer (technically he's GenX) who cannot escape the perspective of his own youth. Young white men today are severely fucked in a myriad of ways that did not exist 25 years ago. I'm Molymeme's age and compared to young males today, I did NOT have to compete with tinder, instagram, twitter. I did not deal with girls who were massive beneficiaries of affirmative action programs from the first day of school until the day they expect to retire. I did not have to deal with being actively discriminated against in school in work in organizations. I was not demonized in every TV commercial, movie and advertisement.

I did not have to deal with a generation of females who had been taught to dehumanize me.

Young men today are effectively screwed. The good news? We are very close (more than two weeks though) to the system collapsing under its own complexity. Technically it will be a monetary crash that triggers it, but much of our social complexity will fail. You will need to have some practical real world skills, or be able to acquire them quickly.

Females who are cold, hungry and scared will love any man who has the ability to feed, shelter and keep her warm. ESPECIALLY if the majority of people are still suffering, and you might put her out with them if she annoys you.

Females, like fire, make dangerous servants and fearful masters.
