My mom once told me she asked her family to guard her and my dad's car on the day of their wedding. This was because my dad's jackass friends thought pranks were the funniest thing in the world. Their pranks were pretty mean. The concern was that mom and dad would emerge from the church on their wedding day to find their car on jack stand with the wheels missing and the battery removed. Dad's friends would have thought that was peak humor. Dad enjoyed pranks like this as well. Dad is the reason I do not think pranks are funny.
