This might be blatant generalization, but quite often it isn't the rotting mound of basement-bound flesh that is going to try and end it all. You might have a diligent coworker who occasionally appears to be tired out of nowhere - and there might be a day where they won't show up for work, won't return calls and all that will be left to do is to request a welfare check with predictable result.
