Could chapter 5 be foreshadowing the dark world’s connection to the after life?
With Card castle having no references to it. Cyber world being the first to showcase a lightner almost dying in it. Chapter 3 being more blunt about the undead theming (the creepy Knight background that looks utterly dead) and the knight being a skeleton figure (undead). Chapter 4 being the church dark world featuring heavenly imagery, a dead lightner that once preached about coming to the next life.
Maybe chapter 5 will be the dark world in which Asgore dies and we see a Darkner take him up to a higher plain, and without our control, Kris runs after him to the pit, screaming! And then Susie and Ralsei save him from falling down the pit.
