It's already too late for him sadly, just like his bf, but for other reasons.
The sad part is Homura would most likely have loved him back originally by seeing his dedication.
But now he turned himself into a monstrosity and his reasoning for doing so was an insult towards her, she obviously wouldn't love him back now and would deal with him the same way she deals with the other witches.
So sad, this is why internet rabbit holes can be dangerous.
