Superstars uses the same engine as Mania (Retro engine) which is a physics engine that replicates the physics of the Genesis games. Tails Adventure was an 8-bit metroidvania so it wasn't physics based it was just a normal 2D platformer

I know you mean a Tails Adventure remake with 3D models like Superstars I'm just flexing my knowledge
