Good night everyone, have a nice day. My father survived, and I am very happy. Just got a call from his.
Today I explored some philosophy, notably the origin of nihilism. Hegel's absolute, the Camus absurdism, Sartre's ultra-personal view of freedom, then Nietzsche's Will to Power. Ultimately, some random guy's comment on the discussion I read was what I will remember most fondly :
"The reason why nihilism feels bad is out of a lost sense of belonging. 'Nothing matters, it's all just random happenstance? Then what's my place? Why am I here? Fortunately, the human body, through perefctly rational processes, bring you a premade way of getting belonging back. Hang with friends, or what you can call family, and you'll have home : a place where you belong. So, why would the 'universe' not directly be a place you belong be such a big deal"
Of course, completely paraphrased, and with my own thoughts in it.
Anyways, good night.
