Coastal New England is sooooo pretentious though. It's like cartoon-levels of snobbery and passive aggression, and the things they hold deer are all bizarrely cornie.
Did I mention the food sucks? There's fried seafood. Everything else they do a sub-par job with at high prices.
They have fine dining that looks as bland and old timey as it gets. When you'd see fine dining made fun of in TV shows or something in the 90's, the dishes they depicted is pretty much what the expensive food unironically is in coastal New England. It's all catered for 70 year olds.
