Also I dunno how it goes there but when there is a new camera or lens launch the companies do free thematical workshops here in conjunction with stores. If said new gear is sports focused sometimes its motorsport. When the Canon 100-300 2.8 launched 2 years ago they held it at a track day. (picrel is a shitty practice photo from then)
