Russian Drone and Artillery Strikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region, Injuring Five and Damaging Farms

Russian forces launched a series of drone and artillery attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight and into Sunday, targeting civilian areas in the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Mezhova districts, according to the regional military administration.
In the Nikopol district, which has been under relentless shelling, the communities of Nikopol, Pokrov, and Marhanets were struck with artillery and kamikaze drones. The attacks damaged six private residences, a gas pipeline, and a power line. Authorities also confirmed that a drone strike late Saturday evening caused a garage to catch fire in Nikopol; the fire has since been extinguished.
In the Synelnykove district, the Vasylkivka community was targeted by a drone, which struck a farm. The resulting fire was put out, but a quantity of grain was destroyed.
Officials also provided updated information on a missile attack in the same community from the previous day, confirming a total of five people were injured. A 70-year-old man remains in serious condition in the hospital. A 71-year-old man is receiving outpatient care, along with two women, aged 41 and 70, and a 59-year-old man.
In the Mezhova community, an attack by FPV drones damaged local infrastructure. No casualties were reported in the overnight attacks.
