Yeah. He was my character in a previous campaign who initially resisted the temptation of an evil sentient sword after he was left the sole survivor of his party in a particularly hostile dungeon. It offered him the power to save the tormented souls of his dead friends from this prison, and in return he lost his free will to the Conqueror's Blade. Ended up becoming a multiplanar evil warlord that was finally halted in his tracks on a plane that resembled a mishmash of far eastern cultures. He entered a stalemate for a few thousand years until the player characters of that game shattered the sword and set him free. He now wanders the planes as a knight errant seeking redemption for his moment of weakness.
