This is my biggest gripe with the character in general, like I get that she's happy to have friends or whatever but it hasn't even been a fucking week and the most closed-off character (or at least the one that's supposed to) is already giving fucking sappy emotional speeches about the power of friendship when the average person irl would take fucking months just to have them open up. It's one of those things that probably feels ok and natural for some some since it's been years for US, but once you think about how things are for them, it's really weird. If the game were more realistic, we'd have her only acknowledging that maybe we're friends at the END and not before the halfway point in the story, and since she's not used to kindness, it's also a process for her to learn to trust.
I think once the game fully releases this particular issue will become impossible to ignore as you'll be able to play the chapters in quick succession.
