See, if Rick went to a parallel world where everything was exactly the same as Rick Prime's reality until the Cronenberg incident, the Rick who figured out how to cure the Cronenbergs was also someone who replaced a Rick who left. Taken to the logical extreme, Beth's original Rick is identical to Rick Prime and killed the Cronenberg Cure Guy's original Beth. By all implication, Rick C-137 and the Rick who cured the Cronenbergs are identical with that one day making the difference, which would mean there is an almost identical Rick to Rick Prime. Why that guy didn't show up when the earth got frundled is a bit of a mystery, either he was elsewhere or already dead.
