People who join in on a streamer's beginnings have a tendency to remain there because they absorb more of the in-jokes and spend more of their time around that streamer. Those who join in later have a harder time reaching the same level of appreciation making some bits and jokes not hit as well. That is to say, you just joined early enough and never bothered to look for more (which is fine, because everything is subjective). Vinny's 4chan beginnings probably helped a lot of people get into streamers at all.
