the fact the switch masquerades as a home console and is able to dock with "current" gen ports doesnt mean its not a handheld.
you could dock the gameboy and gba games with addons, you could dock the PSP, its no different.
the fact is they make dedicated hardware that is portable, sony or xbox does not do this. The only closest competitor is the PC market which began repackaging laptops into gaming tablets now that integrated graphics are usable.
