Because they were JUNK that sounded like ASS.
You had to have your hearing lobotomized to actually enjoy them ever, it's a good riddance they went away.
If you want really bad something that doesn't go into your ear canal, instead sitting on your ear then get yourself koss ksc75 for about 20 bucks.
You will get really good sound quality, just make sure you are getting legit ones and not chinese fakes (apparently amaZOG had a ton of koss fakes).
Protip if you actually go with it: Gotta detach and bend the clips until you get the drivers to sit closest to your ear to get the best sound out of them - how the clips are out of factory will result in rolled off sub-bass and highs (details loss) - properly sitting pair has none of that.
