Shina formally declares war on the Republic of China. In the next two hours, Japan will formally join Taiwan and declare war on the People's Republic of China, and it is expected that within two hours after that, Australia will join in the war on the side of the PTDO.

The last three days have involved a series of further missile salvos by Shina and frantic attempts by Taiwan and Nippon to engage diplomatically with Shina to stop this madness.

And madness it is. The PRC is about to send hundreds of thousands of inexperienced soldiers across the East China Sea onto the beaches of Taiwan, where they will be shuffled into mined killzones. Even if they succeed in pushing back the Australian-Nipponese-Taiwanese defenses, thousands will die.
