Its hard to tell but I think he was going to go wide and pushed in harder, running out of tire. It also sounds like he may have added throttle at full lean.

He has another video on his channel where he is running lap times and that ramp is on his rout. Looks like he is using highway ramps as a makeshift track. I'll admit Ive done stuff like this too, but I'm smart enough to do it early mornings on the weekend when there's hardly any traffic out.
