our movie theatre play some anime movies, but usually just the more mainstream stuff like Koe no Katachi and Ghibli movies

you should give it a go! i found the atmosphere, character design and soundtrack really appealing. It can have some janky moments and isn't as clean as GBC, but the story will prob hook you
