staying up past my bedtime and taking it easy

Lots of people I need to see in a very short amount of time before my life basically ends (figuratively, as much as I wish for literally)

Thank you for the hugs, dreamer-sama, I will hug you very tightly back in exchange !

I have rolled out of bed. Now it's time to get some work done.
Eating that grilled cheese the other day has convinced me to finally buy a pan so I can make them at home...

Probably but it seems less awkward somehow.
>Funny that's the suit i imagined you'd wear.
What do you think I wear on a daily basis?
>It's been ages since i ate chips with ketchup
Are there any chip shops near you? The one I like is a pain to get to where I live now, which might be a good excuse to go to the office more...
>how do they do that? It's just cheese
It just tasted kind of funky. Maybe they used the wrong kind of cheese.
>what r u indian?
sir,, the British class system isn't as bad as India's but it's probably a lot worse than most countries'. It's not enough to be affluent, you have to be born into it for a couple of generations and do certain cultural things. It's very silly.

U can get chips at pretty much any kebab place i think. No fish and chips though...

How do the British expatriates in Lithuania cope?
>Ever tried a pizza with a cheese other than mozarella?
Probably. I don't know what would have been used though.
>Do u see things improving in the future?
Things are getting a little better but it'll take a huge cultural shift for anything to actually change. State school enrolment at Oxbridge is getting better, if you want to use that as a yardstick.

that was gonna b my second guess. I used 2 b very awootisitic about clothing. Black jeans and black tops everywhere i went. Even at home.
>How do the British expatriates in Lithuania cope?
no idea. I think i told u about a half british dude in my class. He's been frustrated about the lack of fish and chips here...

>What sort of restaurant is it?
The picrel is some japanese restaurant probably, I steal from xitter restlessly as you know. In other news, they're selling a Hello Kitty themed chicken sandwich at my local Macca's and I tried it just now (for science). IMO pretty good, though a little cluttered (stuff slides off it). The pink bun is cute, otherwise just a regular loaded sandwich with a tomato slice and 2 cheeses, 8/10 overall.
Never understood some of the people's beef (heh) with veggies on burgers. Like, tomatos are delicious, pickles are delicious, lettuce is yummy, what's the problem?

>He's been frustrated about the lack of fish and chips here...
I would be too. It's nice.
>how is the class mobility in the UK?
Economic mobility is alright. Class mobility isn't a thing. If you were born working class and became a millionaire, you'd still be working class. Your grandkids might be in a higher class if you're lucky.

It's deep fried. Which is too dangerous and expensive to do at home, so I won't.

It's more about how you're raised than anything, whether you were privately educated, the circles your parents are in. I'm not sure you can truly understand it unless you live here.

>any advice on how to ace interviews?
Don't come across as autistic. Other than that, try to relate any questions back to anecdotes of prior experience.
You generally want to answer questions like:
>when I did X job, Y challenge showed up, and I solved it in Z way
Doesn't need to be related a job but it helps if it is.

taking it easy before sleep
today i had a dream where i was crying and telling mom some encouragement words, we were still in our apartment back when we lived together apparently
>remember what i told you? courage isn't about not feeling fear, it's about pushing forward even when afraid
or something like that
tomorrow i'll be seeing her to hug her in person, so that's nice

today my monitor support thingy arrived, was a bitch to install but at least now my posture isn't as bad anymore
might adjust it a bit later though, it's a bit high now that i think about it...

as usual, sending out a hug for yuyuko anon, a pat on the backs of eiki anon and hu tao anon, and all of the above for kaguyanon (and anyone else who wants some)
thank you for being here, i appreciate you

>>81949785
well anon, i'm not about to bullshit you since right now i don't feel all that optimistic myself
but purpose, worth, etc. are all relative concepts, they're things we come up with
so you may think that and that's that, but to someone else, you may have a purpose, and you may be worth something
if your life is falling apart, then maybe it's better for us to course correct instead of wallowing in despair
course correcting is a long term plan with milestones to guide you there, so it could be really abstract, but the milestones have to be concrete and achievable
can you think of anything? a destination and a milestone, at least

me not feeling optimistic just means i'm in more of a realistic mood, i don't go down the pessimistic rabbit hole anymore
and on that note... everything? i have to disagree there, there's a lot that can be salvaged even if an endeavor fails
setbacks happen, shit happens, your progress may come undone, but the lessons stay with you, the knowledge, the experience
next time you try, it's not going to be as difficult and you probably won't make the same mistakes again, or at least, you'll do them differently

again, set your objective right, and look for milestones
the opportunities will present themselves, as they have already, even if shit didn't go as expected
tl;dr grab a fucking defibrillator and zap your dreams back to life if you can, and if you can't, learn from this experience and try again

p.s. i ask for nothing in return, i'm not looking for a trade/exchange here
it'd be nice to be heard, but that's not always possible so i don't ask for that either

hmm maybe, but your past experiences are the reason why you got more comfortable during the interview. you might not have succeeded in the past, but that doesn't mean you haven't learned from those experiences, anon
>i wish they played anime movies in theatres here, but i dont think its ever gonna happen
our movie theatre play some anime movies, but usually just the more mainstream stuff like Koe no Katachi and Ghibli movies
>i've heard good things about dorohedoro, would you say its worth a watch?
you should give it a go! i found the atmosphere, character design and soundtrack really appealing. It can have some janky moments and isn't as clean as GBC, but the story will prob hook you
>glad to hear you're good! there are lectures in the summer too? what a bother...

>katana zero

>any upcoming games you're looking forward?
eh, not really. i haven't really been interested in any new game except for monster hunter wilds, which i refuse to buy until they lower the price or release the G rank expansion. (which i will still not buy until its on sale). i dont like how every game costs so much more now, and is basically not even finished on launch.

Cloudberries are actually illegal to take anywhere. Like you're supposed to eat them in the region you found them. I had them once, obviously they're as mid as you'd expect of something growing in the nordicks, certainly no anar leather.

Yes, that's the thing. A bunch of goyim could no longer cope with the hypocrisy of becoming subservient to YHW and the (((Church Fathers))) shut it all down. It was all a joke from the very start. The demiurge status is far to generous as is, but I'm not gonna start now. You're all clearly well-read and smarter than this old dog in here.

Impressive that these guys did to this thread in tens of posts what hater-chan failed to do in hundreds.
How are you MORE destructive than someone who literally spammed CP for like a month?

Still rember when this niqqa in the middle of his esoteric yapping got asked why he don't use authentic Old Prussian instruments and started sneething about how Prussian Kultur isn't dead, so he don't have to limit themselves to pre-modern stuff.

I'm not gonna go into great details about this so I'm just gonna say that I'm absolutely and unapolegetically obsessed with Randal. Everything about Randal is perfect, from appearence to personality to lore and world he lives in. Randal is perfect in every way possible. I don't even want Randal to exist in real world because that would mean him being crippled by real world limitations, he's perfect the way he is and I don't even need a daki or a life-sized doll (with a human skeleton inside) to be able to touch him and I don't need a tulpa to be able to feel his presence, he's always there in the back of my mind. Always there to remind me how great things still exist in this world of slop and soulessness.
