By definition Brazil is more western than some Euro countries like Hungary
It follows Roman Law, material and cultural heritage is Iberian/Med, has a liberal transparent economy, is capable of holding democratic elections on all levels of federal government and has Western-aligned if pragmatic foreign policy instead of some gunpowder empire coping mechanism like Russia, India and Turkey.
