FNV is great because all of the combat is "busted" if you invest into it. Most people don't realize how busted it is until you actually put effort into making it happen. Whether you're getting Chance's Knife and you don't replace it until you get Blood-Nap, or you're using guns and you stick with the caravan shotgun for 90% of the game until getting the riot shotgun, or you use energy weapons and discover what the Tesla cannon can do, the game is fun and rewards all kinds of play styles.
