>Did the curses really lose?
No, even though there was very clearly a possibility of curses being "Solved" in the form of characters like Yuki, those efforts go nowhere. Shibuya exposes curses/cursed energy to the outside world, the following conflict kills Yuki and Gojo (The two biggest threats to cursekind) and the ending is just the status quo being preserved. The goal of the disaster curses (Except Mahito) was to secure a future for curses and ensure their survival, and they pretty much succeeded completely at that. Even though it came at the cost of his life, Jogo is ironically one of the only villains in the story who actually completes his goals and effectively wins. He was truly the selfless hero of cursebros.
