I don’t know how they always screw up Hal Jordan. Back in 2013 you could’ve had Tom Cruise, or someone Tom Cruise adjacent, play Hal, adapt his pilot origin faithfully, give him a practical suit like in MoS, give Hal a hot love interest like Lauren Cohen, and have him save the day on earth. Don’t go full CGI shitfest in the first one. Make Hal a red blooded American, proud to serve his country like Michael Bay protagonists usually are, and release it near 4th of July.
