It's probably for many, connected, reasons:

- They are priming the masses for visible spiritual evil (not just nigs and libs acting possessed and killing people)
- They use storylines like this to bring in magic users who always seem to wear satanic JEWlrey but also project satanic imagery as spells. Look at the odd pentagram design that Dr. Strange creates when he does his wavy hand magic
- It's also a lot safer to have superheros fighting space aliens than it is to have them dealing with street level crime because the west and Europe is currently trying to change the definition of what is legally considered a crime so that nigs, Muslims, jeets and every other brown monstrosity and commie liberal are exempt.
