did what you guys said and looked at a map of e1m5. with the extra blue armor and soul sphere my chances are looking a lot better now on e1m6 than it was when i was like 70/70! still got my ass beat but at least i survived it. i died again but i'm gonna get it, i haven't played an fps since 2021 and my aim's getting better every day

btw, to whoever said you need to know where all the secrets are to beat the OG wads on UV, i don't agree. i beat doom 1 ep 1-3 and the first few levels of doom 2 collecting very few things, just fighting the bare minimum i needed to clear the levels

btw, i'm not playing for 100%, i just wanna beat this shit. the only honor rule i'm playing with is i don't save mid-level, saving is for chumps and nightmare mode imo

i have a really busy week but i'm gonna get to the bottom of this challenge, after i clear all the romero wads i'm gonna try to play every single every single official beth wad on this difficulty

i'm gonna get a usb hub and a gaming monitor in the coming months so i have ethernet and won't need a crosshair for blind people (part of the reason it's so massive is i'm playing on a 7 inch phone screen)
