They just released a colossi with the intention of it being very difficult. They just forgot that serena can do skill damage.

For everyone who doesn't have serena built, Ice Maiden is very difficult. It's THE late game boss. They have a change to rebalance all colossi to be like that.

Also, people complain and they nerf it, that means it happened. The devs understand there needs to be difficult content, they've just done a bad job at implementing it.
