So how do I make Serena work? Serena had been released for a month or so before Ice Maiden came out. People were complaining she was broken so they put a modifier on the boss that guns do no damage other than breaking parts. They clearly did this to counter Serena. They said on the live steam the intention is to have a difficult boss that takes time to beat. That's why you get way more green tickets per kill, it's supposed to take longer to kill. You could tell during the live stream they did not think Serena would be the best descendant for the boss.

The leaderboards are the top .1% of the player base. No devs should ever cater to people that want the game to be trivial so they can get off to seeing their name on a list.
