Grigori wasn't really in 2, it was just The Dragon.
I personally loved the entire ending sequence of DD2. World Unmoored, the dark dragons around the land, the Brine taking over with every rest as villages seek refuge..
DD2 doesn't really have a final boss but that's for the better I think
