I wonder who the hell was pushing for it to be a "true" sequel then. If this was a spinoff and seen as a lower budget title, I would be more forgiven because it would mean there's the possibility of a real sequel in the future but that's thrown out the window. Any titles after will have to be seen as a continuation of the retarded shit from Platinum. There is no future here. At BEST a remake of NG1, not that we should even want one.
