You can’t say other people have a mental illness when you truly believe it’s realistic to enforce such draconian, authoritarian measures such as restricting people’s ability to travel into remote areas of their own free will for something as benign as the risk of fire.
People will go where they please and do as they please and you will not infringe on that.
The only mentally ill are the ones trying to ban forests.
