Yes I've actually lived there, literally all over the bay area. it's a fucking magical place. there is a reason why startup founders from across the planet flock to sf.

and no, it's not that expensive. it's possible to spend less than $1000 a month while living in the city if you really need to be there. it's all up to how much you want it, and how dedicated you are to making it work.

When I lived in SF my monthly expenses were around $1200 a month I think
