Was he right to reject the Witch of Greed's offer? It seems pretty obvious that it had no downsides. For a guy so enamored with a half-elf who is obviously the Witch of Envy's body double (Emilia), why would he not jump on the other albino elf's offer to share his experiences with her?

Maybe Satella would destroy the world based on him choosing Echidna over her, but was it really such a difficult choice? Why didn't he ask Echidna to bring Rem back as a condition of accepting her offer? Subaru continues to amaze me in his willingness to undergo suffering rather than choose the easy way out.
