Nooooo this sequence was fun as fuck, why was it so short? I'd love to control different teams with different units more often. Kotor 2 had this often and I loved it.
In fact games should encourage making mercs and different teams and not dissuade from it. I should be able to make my custom squads and send them on missions. Dark Heresy could work like this, with you making your own Acolytes and sending them on missions Xcom style.
Both Pathfinder games should encourage build autism and team building too. Being in charge of Mercenary group in them with strategy mechanics fitting mercenaries would be great instead of large scale kingdom/crusade management which does not fit skirmish games like crpgs
