Part of the game involves a big democratic election where candidates fight for public support, you get involved with that and get dragged into conversations about random political shit. Since this election has to include loads of random NPCs who get ejected from the race the game includes a lot of minor characters defined by their own retarded political takes, which tend to be intentionally flawed because you're going to 'beat them' in debates or make them look like idiots in the process of closing in on the actually relevant characters

This isn't like a Western game where every NPC preaches the DEI writer's own political view as the truth. Everyone has their own schtick and loads of those schticks are retarded on purpose
