I live in the middle of Bum Fuck Nowhere Indiana, and my rent is $1450. Apartments in NYC are upwards of $3-4k. Literally the only people paying $600 a month are on welfare and getting breaks on their rent already. Where the fuck did you get your info? It's not correct anywhere in the US. $1600 is a normal amount to pay for rent.
