I enjoyed the on-foot stuff too, apart from Fox flinching whenever you get hit. The whole combo mechanic was a good expansion of 64's points system, and having full control of the Landmaster and using it to run over shit and roll around everywhere was dope.

All I want out of this franchise is a follow-up to Assault's gameplay which uses 64's branching paths, or maybe even a totally open map like 2, but I'm prepared for on-rails SNES remake #4 when we get a new game in 10 years.
