Honestly, she's the right amount of bitch. My problem is with Alicent. Why go so hard to paint her as a good person, a paragon of justice? We know she's despicable in the books but everything she does she does for the fear of her children's lives which isn't unfounded considering that Rhaenyra ordered the torture of her boy right after he lost his eye.

as if, they are telling the viewer "OOOOKAY, we know that's how Alicent is depicted in Fire & Blood but consider unreliable narrator = open to debate!" as if they already hadn't fucking admitted that they're making a completely different thing by making these two childhood friends which is NOT even REMOTELY up to debate in the fucking BOOK so why pretend like you care about the fucking BOOK at all?
