Mole skin.
If you wear new boots for a few hours, you will quickly identify the "hot spots" and then you just put the mole skin on those places.
Mole skin is a basic medical kit item along with imodoum (anti diarrhea meds) and diaper rash cream. Nothing sucks more than blistered feet, and an exploding and/or chapped ass. Your freinds will worship you if you can provide any of these three things when they are needed.
