z-inputs are completely fair and reasonable on an arcade machine or fightstick
they are much, much harder to do on a controller with a smaller surface area and only your thumb instead of your entire hand
i can do them on both but the majority of people trying to get into fightan are not just going to drop a hundred (or way more) on a fightstick, so they're up against the harder to use controller
