Maybe, but he does show a particular interest in human psychology that the Machine Gods don't, so he does act like a leader figure instead of a violent brute like all the robots we've seen.
He might've computerized himself in part to keep up with the unfinished AI to control it (unlike Bofoi, who finished the AI by pushing past the limits of his brain with effort alone), especially since he seems to view cyborgification as entirely sensible.
