1066 start is suprisingly more fun than 769 or 867, I didnt remember that Amazigh pirates were a thing.
Later start dates are any good?
I mainly start in 769 to play as a Hellenist or 867 because some starts have hard fights like the Great Heathen Invasion or the Magyars to play against.
I've been thinking of starting as a Greek under the Sultanate of Rum and form a custom Rumi Empire as a Sunni Greek.
At the same Im enteraining the idea of doing a 769 start as like the Theodoring for their coat of arms and I've been thinking of doing a Vandal kingdom in Africa. Whats the best culture that represents the Vandals? Goths? Saxons? Germans?
