My favourite thing to do when I can't start a profile is flesh out the character a little personally by thinking about 3 personal objects they keep with them.

Think about what they are, where they keep them, and why they keep them on them. Something they might have been given by someone they grew up with, a token for a quest they are taking on, something to remind them of home, etc

It helps flesh it out a little and gives you jumping off points to make more ideas come to life
