At 36, I really do feel behind in life. Friends from high school and university all either married and/or have kids, working their dream careers (some even out of the country), and even a cousin recently pinned the rank of Lt. Col in the Army. As for me? I'm just working six days a week in a warehouse with no real 'future' to speak of; no other job will hire me, and the career field(s) for which I went to school won't even interview me at this point. Can't join the military either.

I lost the game of Life, it seems.

I've gotten to the point in life where the high point of my week is grocery shopping and doing laundry on Sundays. Adult life isn't as amazing as TV and movies made it look.
