you don't need massive context to do this.
In Koboldcpp, you relevant background/lore info can be automatically inserted into the context via keywords.
For example, whenever "hitler" is mentioned, you can set it to add the context "this guy did nothing wrong btw".

You can also add a text database in the form of plain text or a pdf that can be searched through whenever it's needed to reference some worldbuilding document or act as long term memory.
