Era Indomitus might as well be a complete dumpster and rework, pretending otherwise is like saying Age of Shitmar isn't a complete rework and dumpstering of Fantasy Battle because you can technically use some of the miniatures. The only reason old shit even remained in nu-40k was because they knew that making everyone rebuy their armies right away would quickly end with the offices burnt down by an angry mob, so they merely delayed that for few years.
