It has been a hot while since I've written anything major involving these two.

This was originally supposed to be a short story that spiraled out of control alongside my own life (I started on this in November of last year) and had since been integrated as a chapter, or rather a collective of 7 segments that constitute a volume of events that I somehow consolidate as a single chapter. What the hell is formatting.
