That's why I don't buy the cringe EU fanfiction slop "Empire was raycist!" crap. Most of the Empire is comprised of aliens, as seen in the prequels. Lucas had never spoken of Empire being racist. It's just backwards EU slop lore, created after the fact to explain the fact that Lucas didn't have enough money back in the day when making the original films to have more aliens. Which wasn't a problem when he made the prequels.
