Well i think it was mostly academic

I just transferred to a new university and i took the math major prerequisite class last semester. It was basically meant to shove us into the deep end of undergraduate proofs and the course is genuinely intended to make people fail. Its considered the hardest undergrad math course (relatively speaking)

So this being my first math course at this new university it really messed with me and my ability to believe in myself.

I think thats the main reason that i sturggled compared to the male classmates, most of them were traditional student who were very well prepared for this course, they had guidance from older students and teamed up with each other. I was just trying to figure it out on my own. I felt a lot like a freshman last semester because i might as well been one given i was in community college

in the end i got a B-, I still really like math despite this course making me very to committing suicide
