Those "tranquil" beaches are currently hitting temperatures in the high 30s. Tourists are literally spontaneously combusting while trying to find shelter from the heat.
It's pretty crazy to think that when I was a child, we used to have snow days every year where schools would be closed for 2-5 days while the roads were cleared, while nowadays, we're lucky if it even snows once during winter.
